About us
The Teens unit, fondly known as the Next Generation (NXG), currently consists of young adults between the ages of 13 and 19. We prepare them for life and for the mainstream of the adult Church. We are encouraged by our young teenagers who have decided to live their lives for Christ in all areas. They are continually breaking barriers and setting standards according to what God has purposed for them, there is no stopping this chosen generation with God behind them. These young adults are always coming up with ways to show forth the God in them every Sunday either by putting on a talent show, through their discussions or by simply sharing their testimonies to encourage one another. It is a place where the voice of the next generation is being heard today. It is also a place where they are being equipped to worship, declare, communicate and demonstrate the purpose and principles of the kingdom of God.
‘‘But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light’’ (1 Peter 2:9 NKJV).
Our mandate- To cater for teenagers and young adults of the Church.
Support Provided
- The NXG is taught by dedicated teachers who have heart for young people.
- We spend time reading the word of God, bringing the word to life in a way that is applicable to us, to ensure that we understand and build a strong foundation.
- We have a dedicated venue for meetings or NXG activities.
- Resources – Bible, videos, journals, manuals for Sunday School and resources for topical discussions.
Regular Meetings / Flagship Event
- The teen service times run concurrent with the family services.
- Teens Sunday School: 9.30 -10.15
- Main service: 10.15 – 12.00 noon
- NXG Weekend – Once in a year
